Finlay Colville is the head of market research activities, including the company’s market research reports, bespoke consulting and the PV CellTech conference. Recognised as one of the leading market analysts covering the solar PV sector, Dr Colville has more than a decade of experience tracking the industry including head of solar at NPD Solarbuzz until 2015. Prior to this, he held various sales and marketing roles over 10 years with a global capital equipment manufacturer. Finlay is generally to be found in coffee shops, random airports, or debating the merits of 5-day test matches versus T20 cricket. He holds a BSc in Physics, and a PhD in nonlinear photonics from the University of St. Andrews.
